Monster Graphics Terms and Conditions

Quotes

All quotes are valid for 14 days from issue date. If you wish to proceed with a quote that has expired please contact Kristen to see if the quote is still valid, otherwise a new one will be issued and this will override any existing quote. Quotes are for design and development only. Any use of stock images will be charged out at $50* an image. Stock videos and printing (if required) will be charged additionally. All quotes will state a reasonable amount of time for any changes. Changes exceeding these times are charged out at $90* an hour. A 50% deposit of the quote is to be received and cleared before any work is commenced.

Invoices

Invoices will be issued on completion of the project. These will show all charges, less the original deposit or any other payments received. Invoices are due 7 days from the invoice date. Monster Graphics reserves the right to hold any design project from the client until payment has been made in full. In the case of a website, Monster Graphics reserves the right to restrict access to your website until payment has been received in full. Invoices can be paid by direct credit or cheque.

Graphic Design

Emailed or printed proofs will be issued prior to completion and/or going to print. Monster Graphics holds no responsibility for any content errors after the proof has been accepted. Monster Graphics advises you to carefully check all content – images, grammar, spelling, contact details and placement etc. Monster Graphics can outsource a proof reader/editor if you would prefer, this will be charged additionally. The colours and overall quality from emailed and/or printed proofs issued will vary from the final printed product. A print handling fee will apply if you wish for Monster Graphics to organise printing for you. All time spent on any design project is to be paid in full.

Website Design and Development

Monster Graphics will activate a website once payment has been received in full. A Design proof for the website will be sent through before the web development commences. Please note, the website cannot begin development until this proof has been signed-off. It is possible to make changes to the layout after development has commenced, however this is time consuming and costly. We advise you make any changes to the website layout in the design stage. MonsterGraphics offers website hosting at $150* a year and if required can add this to the project invoice. Our CMS websites must be hosted by us on our server. If we purchase domain names on your behalf you will be invoiced for these at the time of purchase, not necessarily at the conclusion of the project. Monster Graphics supports the following web browsers – Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 7+, Firefox 3+ and Safari 4+. Our websites are designed and developed to view and function correctly within these browsers. All time spent on any design project is to be paid in full.

Colossus

All websites built using the Colossus system come with a monthly fee. As of 01.05.10 this fee is $80NZD + GST a month. This price is subject to change at the discretion of Monster Graphics Ltd and all current users will be given 1 months notice. The Colossus monthly fee must be paid by automatic payment on the specified date supplied by Monster Graphics. If you have pre-arranged a monthly invoice to invoice system for the Colossus monthly fee then this invoice must be paid on the due date. In the case that an automatic payment has not been received or invoices are not paid, Monster Graphics will discontinue some or all of the functionality of your Colossus website.
